The 2022 Ford Ranger is celebrating the return of a popular customer choice on the previous model, namely the Splash Limited Edition. This was an optional feature that offered interested customers the chance to pick unique colors for their trucks, from limited range of hues, that were periodically changed.
These are one-time-only colors that will drop every few months and the first batch to be offered includes three shades: Snow Edition, Forest Edition and Sand Edition. The Ford Ranger Snow Edition comes dressed up in the Avalanche exterior paint color, combined with a set of Magnetic accents here and there. To make a bigger splash (pun very much intended), the front grille nostrils will also be painted in Avalanche. Inside the cabin you get unique ebony leather-trimmed seats, featuring Ash Gray accent stitching as well as carbon weave tuxedo stripes and bolsters. Finishing things off is a set of additional black accents inside the cabin. Only 750 units of the Snow Edition Range will be built.

The Forest Edition Ranger comes in XLT guise and painted Forged Green on the outside. The green hue is complimented by Magnetic accents as well but this time we’re looking at red grille nostrils. Inside the cabin you’ll also find Ash Grey accent stitching along with the same carbon weave tuxedo stripes and bolsters from the Snow Edition model. Only 500 units of the Forest Edition Ranger will be built and they should be available this summer, a bit later than the Snow Edition version, that’s supposed to arrive this Spring.

Finally, the Sand Edition Ranger will be coming out this Fall and features the Desert Sand exterior paint. The interior remains the same as on the other two limited edition models, with the same Ash Grey stitching and carbon weave. However, in this case, we’re looking at cloth seats, not leather. Only 500 of the Sand Edition Ranger models will be built. The pricing for these optional packages is $1,495 MSRP, no matter which color you go for.
