The pricing for the 2022 Toyota Mirai was announced today and the hydrogen-powered model from Japan will start at $49,500. Furthermore, you get $15,000-worth hydrogen fuel included in the deal, which sweetens the offer by quite a lot. The 2022 model also gets more standard kit than ever.
The Japanese car maker put a lot of emphasis on the safety side of things when it came to the 2022 Mirai. As such, the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ system is now standard on the 2022 Mirai and includes: Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD) with intersection support and emergency steering assist, Full-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Lane Departure Alert, Lane Tracing, Assist (LTA), Automatic High Beams, Road Sign Assist (RSA). Furthermore, you also get Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert as standard, which is not included in the aforementioned pack.

The range will be made up of two offerings: the Mirai XLE and the Mirai Limited. The XLE model comes equipped with standard SofTex-trimmed seating featuring heated, 8-way power driver and 4-way power passenger seats, dual-zone automatic climate control with remote feature, Smart Key System remote keyless entry system with trunk-release, panic button and remote illuminated entry, auto-leveling LED headlamps, LED front interior reading lights, Toyota Premium Multimedia system with navigation and 14 JBL speakers, Qi wireless charger, power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirror and electronic parking brake. As an option, the XLE offers the Advanced Technology Package that includes Bird’s Eye View Camera, Front and Rear Parking Assist with Automated Braking and Front Seat Foot Illumination.
The Limited version includes everything the XLE offers and adds ventilated front seats, heated rear seating, three-zone automatic climate control (two-zone in front, one-zone in rear with separate digital control panel), ambient lighting and a panorama roof, which features fixed glass panels and a power sunshade. While the XLE starts at the aforementioned $49,500 price tag, the Limited model kicks off at $66,000. All the prices are excluding the $1,025 handling and delivery fee. The best part is that each Mirai now comes with $15,000-worth of hydrogen fuel included which means you probably won’t have to worry about money spent on fuel for a very long time.
