The 2022 model year will mark the end of the line for the Audi TT RS in the American market. The German company recently announced that this it for the high-performance Coupe model and that, in order to mark the occasion, a special, Heritage Edition version will be offered, in limited numbers.

Only 50 Audi TT RS Heritage Edition models will be sold in the United States in 2022. They’ll be available in unique color combinations inspired by the original Audi Quattro, as you can see in the photo gallery below, and only 10 of each will be made.

These color combinations will be: Alpine White with Ocean Blue leather and Diamond Silver stitching, Helios Blue metallic with Diamond Silver leather and Ocean Blue stitching, Stone Gray Metallic with Crimson Red leather and Jet Gray stitching, Tizian Red metallic with Havanna Brown leather and Jet Gray stitching, Malachite Green metallic with Cognac Bown leather and Black stitching.

Aside from the unique color combinations, the Heritage Edition models include a few other features. They get 20-inch five-spoke wheels with a bi-color anthracite finish, the mirror caps are finished in aluminum while the rear wing is removed, and a performance exhaust with black oval tips is added. Alcantara covers the steering wheel and gearshift lever pouch the inside. The floor mats get the RS logo on them as well.

Another nice addition to the mix is to be found non the lower portion of the rear quarter windows on the passenger side, where you’ll find the Heritage Edition logo. This includes the firing order of the five-cylinder engine under the hood: 1-2-4-5-3 and a quattro emblem.

For the 2022 model year, the TT and TTS will be offered in the United States. However, rumors say that they are on the verge of retiring as well. According to conflicting sources, the TT nameplate may be dropped totally at the end of this generation, or Audi may utilize it on an electric crossover.
