Lexus Reveals 10 Eternals-Inspired Vehicles

Lexus is the exclusive automotive partner for the Marvel Studios’ new blockbuster Eternals. To mark the occasion, the Japanese car maker worked with the studio to design 10 character-themed concept vehicles based on each of the 10 superheroes in the story.

“We’re excited to bring the ‘Eternals’ partnership to life through these custom-wrapped Lexus vehicles,” said Vinay Shahani, Lexus vice president of marketing. “Just as each Eternals character has a distinct style and set of capabilities, so does each character-themed Lexus.”

All cars come wrapped in a special livery that follows the armor of each character to the letter. Furthermore, they also have distinctive layouts that highlight their special abilities in various ways. Not only that, but the grilles of the cars and their underbodies were modified so that they emanate a golden glow, similar to the energy signature the superheroes have in the film.

The list includes two Lexus GX SUVs, one for Ajak, played by Salma Hayek and one for Druig, played by Barry Keoghan in the film. They were chosen because the GX is a capable, strong SUV, reflecting the qualities of the two superheroes.

The strongest eternal, Gilgamesh, played by Don Lee, was given a Lexus LX, as this is the biggest and most powerful SUV the car maker has in its line-up today. Then there’s the Lexus LS, associated with the Ikaris character, played by Richard Madden, considered the tactical leader of the Eternals.

The Lexus IS was associated with Kingo, the character played by Kumail Nanjiani, while the Lexus RC F Track Edition was attributed to Makkari, the fastest Eternal in the Marvel Universe and the list goes on.

This isn’t the first time Lexus was the official partner of a Marvel Universe movie. Back in 2018, Black Panther was the first one to show us what a superhero Lexus would look like, using a Lexus LC in the process.
