The 2022 Porsche Cayenne Goes Platinum

How do you set yourself apart from other Porsche Cayenne owners? By purchasing a model that has the word “Platinum” in it. Thankfully, Porsche has announced the expansion of the 2022 Cayenne lineup with the addition of Platinum packages for the Cayenne so you can do just that. The upgrades are characterized primarily by upgraded standard features and specific design elements now painted a Satin Platinum finish. These alterations apply to the standard Cayenne, E-Hybrid, Cayenne S, and related Coupe models.

Exterior And Interior Design Enhancements

The exterior elements with this satin finish include the front fascia intakes, the rear tail light-integrated logo, and the model designation. Porsche has also taken the standard sport tailpipes, painted them black, and added a high-gloss black finish to the window trim to add a subtle elegant and sporty design essence. Exclusive 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels in the same Satin Platinum finish round out the look.

Customers can order the new Platinum Edition Cayenne in solid white or black, as well as in special metallic tones such as Jet Black, Carrara White, Mahogany, Moonlight Blue, or in Porsche’s specialty “Chalk” color.

The specialty Chalk color makes its way into the Platinum Edition interior by way of the seatbelts, and textured aluminum elements can be found throughout the cabin. A brushed aluminum door sill guard with the “Platinum Edition” designation written in cursive allows customers to remember that they are special every time they enter their Cayenne.

Standard Equipment Upgrades

However, the Platinum Edition Cayenne is not just a pretty face. Porsche has upgraded several standard features so customers receive a compelling product for the additional money spent. LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System, a Panoramic Roof, Bose® Surround Sound system, ambient lighting, 8-way adjustable sport seats, and Porsche crests on the front and rear headrests are all fitted as standard. If that is not enough to make this specialty vehicle your own, Porsche Manufaktur also offers an array of customization options for the interior and exterior of the Cayenne Platinum Edition models.

Pricing

Unshockingly, these upgrades will add to the price tag of whichever Porsche Cayenne model you choose. Adding the words Platinum Edition to your standard Cayenne will also add $10K to the sticker price, but the addition of more standard features makes up for the increased price. Those who had opted for the Cayenne S Coupe will only pay an additional $4,500 to add Platinum to their vehicle. Below is the pricing for all available Cayenne models, according to Porsche’s website, and their respective Platinum Edition counterparts. All prices do not include the $1,350 delivery, processing, and handling fee.
