When the fifth generation GR Supra debuted in 2019, it took the automotive industry by surprise. With a focus on performance and thanks to continuous track testing, the new Supra prioritized pure driving fun. For 2022, a unique A91-Carbon Fiber (CF) Edition has been added to the roster. This special edition Mark V Supra is the most exclusive one to date, limited to only 600 units.
Handmade carbon fiber on the front splitter with wider canards distinguishes the GR Supra A91-CF Edition from the regular flavor models, while carbon fiber rockers enhance the sides. The carbon fiber treatment continues at the back, with a duckbill spoiler catching air on top and larger, lower canards doing the same below. This aero package isn’t just for show; it also improves downforce and stability during daily driving and hot laps around the track.
Additionally, the A91-CF Edition’s unique 19-inch wheels have a matte-black pattern that matches the new matte-gray Phantom paint color. Absolute Zero White and Nitro Yellow round out the paint options. The interior of the GR Supra A91-CF Edition is also distinctive and elegant, with a red-and-black theme running throughout the Alcantara-and-leather-trimmed cabin. The standard 14-way power adjustable, heated sport seats, as well as carbon fiber interior trim, a leather wrapped 3-spoke steering wheel, and sport pedals, all with red stitching detailing complete the package.
The rest of the line-up gets a mild refresh too, for the 2022 model year. The models available include the Supra 2.0, Supra 3.0 and 3.0 Premium. Heated seats are now standard on the 3.0 grades and the 3.0 Premium adds a red leather trimmed interior option. Models equipped with Premium Audio package receive full-screen Apple Car Play.
Absolute Zero, Nitro Yellow (special color), Nocturnal, Renaissance Red 2.0, Tungsten and Turbulence Gray are available for the 2.0 and 3.0’s exteriors. The 3.0 Premium adds Phantom to the mix. The 2.0 and 3.0 come with black Alcantara/leather on the interior, while the 3.0 Premium offers a choice of black or red leather.
