With only modest revisions carried out, Ford’s Mustang Mach-E enters its second year on the market. The Ice White Edition Appearance Package, a white-on-white aesthetic package, is the most significant improvement for the 2022 model year. However, it is only available in Premium guise model.
The Select, California Route 1, GT, and GT Performance Edition are among the other grades available in the 2022 Mustang Mach-E portfolio. The California Route 1 was previously only available with rear-wheel drive, but starting with the 2022 model year, it will also be available with all-wheel drive. This level of equipment now comes with heated front row seats and a heated steering wheel as standard.
The black painted roof is standard on the Mustang Mach-E GT and GT Performance Edition trims. The Mustang Mach-E’s color range has been expanded with the addition of the new Iced Blue Silver Metallic hue. The colors Cyber Orange and Grabber Blue have also been added to the palette.
Ford claims that the Standard Range battery has a capacity of 70 kilowatt-hours, up from 68 kWh now, and that the Extended Range battery will go up to a capacity of 91 kwh, up from 88 kWh currently. Although EPA-rated range data have yet to be released, Ford has stated that the maximum range should be 314 miles, up from the current 305. That would be for the Mustang Mach-E California Route 1 with rear-wheel drive. Ford has begun taking reservations for the 2022 Mustang Mach-E. Deliveries are expected to begin early next year.
